Vintage whisky bottles make cool party lights and vases
I’ve found a great way to use these cool vintage whisky bottles that are well over a hundred years old.
I’ve attached them to a chunky reclaimed pine plaque, so they can be used with battery powered LED lights.
Available in two sizes, they would make an unusual birthday or Father’s Day gift ( or a cool Grandad gift especially if Scotch happens to be his favourite tipple!)
They are not exclusively for men though as they look amazing lit up with LED lights and instantly adds a party atmosphere to your home.
As the bottles can be removed from the metal holder, they can also be filled with water and used as a quirky hanging flower vase.
The back and sides have been painted in Annie Sloane grey, lightly distressed and polished with dark wax.
Embossed on the glass: Mitchells & Butlers Ltd CLANIVOR SCOTCH
Currently have two sizes available:
LARGER bottle on wooden plaque: SOLD Wooden plaque size: H25xW14.5cm (Bottle size : 20 H )
SMALLER bottle on wooden plaque: SOLD Wooden plaque size: H 21.5 x 13.5cm (Bottle size: 16H)
Please note that these are antique bottles on reclaimed wood, therefore they have slight imperfections which form part of their rustic, vintage character.
